REKA Industrial Oyj streamlined its financial processes using Tagetik’s consolidated accounting and interim reporting system

The REKA Group needed to modernize its consolidation system and transition to a modern cloud-based solution. The Clausion FPM system they had previously used no longer met the changing needs of the finance department. REKA’s goal was to find a system that the finance department could easily use and maintain on its own. The company also wanted the new system to provide transparency into its financial figures and streamline work processes through automation.

The following company was selected as the solution provider HSolutions and the company’s technology partner CCH Tagetik. In addition to consolidated financial reporting, CCH Tagetik offers a centralized platform for ESG sustainability reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as IFRS 16 accounting and ESEF-compliant iXBRL reporting. Tagetik’s solution enables all internal and external accounting to be centralized on a single service platform, reducing the number of integrations and standalone point solutions. This modern cloud-based service platform enables the finance department to independently develop and maintain services while significantly reducing the need for IT support. 

REKA had precisely defined the features required of the system. Tageti’s system was ideally suited to meet those identified needs.

-Tagetiki’s consolidated accounting and interim financial reporting solution has brought much-needed transparency to our financial figures and streamlined our consolidated accounting processes. The implementation project stayed on schedule and within budget, thanks to HSolutions’ professional project team. The solution’s ease of use has also enabled the finance department to develop independent reporting capabilities, which is a significant added benefit, says Sari Tulander, CEO of REKA Industrial.

Tageti’s consolidation system offers workflows that help the finance department build efficient financial processes. With the system, REKA was able to eliminate repetitive manual tasks and streamline its work. Now, finance staff have time for development tasks.

-We are currently implementing Tagetik’s Collaborative Office solution, which enables the figures for the financial statements and annual report to be automatically updated in Microsoft Office applications. Collaborative Office also enables simultaneous editing of the annual report across different departments. We can have figures and graphs automatically updated in reports for the board of directors and the management team as well. This significantly streamlines and simplifies our work, Minna Palander, Chief Accountant at REKA Industrial.

-HSolutions’ training services and technical support have also played a crucial role in this ongoing development project, which we have now carried out independently. “Throughout the process, we have always received professional assistance and support from HSolutions’ experts as we developed a solution tailored to our business needs,” Palander continues.

Fix Nordic

Our system solved Fix Nordic’s product and inventory management challenges

As an agile provider, we can offer customized solutions to meet the diverse needs of businesses. HSolutions designed a custom product and inventory management system for Fix Nordic, a company that installs furniture. 

Fix Nordic’s inventory data was managed in Excel. The company did not have a product catalog available for customers to view, and orders were processed over the phone. This involved a great deal of manual and memory-dependent work, so a more efficient solution was urgently needed.

“We couldn’t find a suitable system on the market at a reasonable price. We were told that HSolutions had the expertise to build a modern, cost-effective solution tailored to our needs,” says Stefan Lostedt of Fix Nordic.

As a result of our collaborative design work, we implemented a customer-centric system for FixNordic to streamline the ordering process and boost overall business efficiency. The cloud-based system we designed operates via a web browser on FixNordic’s own web domain. Automation has been built into the system to make maintenance as easy as possible. Product, image gallery, and master data management are centralized in one place.

"We no longer need to maintain separate Excel spreadsheets. Adding new products and their images is easy. Plus, they appear to the customer immediately and are available for order right away," says Stefan Lostedt.

Thanks to this modern solution, product and inventory tracking is always up to date. The system also serves FixNordic’s customers by providing photos and descriptions of products and enabling them to reserve items and place orders. Customers can log in directly to the system via a secure connection to view products and place orders. There’s no need to call anymore—orders are sent automatically to FixNordic. This eliminates the previous situation where customers could order products that were already out of stock. In addition, the system provides a full audit of the entire order chain.  

-Since the system also operates in the cloud via mobile devices, I can check inventory and order status at any time and on any device. The system is also flexible for our customers, as they can place orders according to their own schedules. “With this solution, we’ve been able to streamline our business operations in terms of both working hours and product management and processes. Plus, the solution is very cost-effective to maintain,” says XX from Fix Nordic. 

Fix Nordic Oy was founded in 2005. It is a limited liability company headquartered in Helsinki, and its main line of business is furniture installation. Its clients include companies and large corporations.

Evli Bank Plc

Evli streamlined its financial processes using Tagetik’s consolidation system

Evli Bank Plcwanted to upgrade its consolidation system to a more modern one, as updates for the previous system (Hyperion HFM) were set to end by the end of 2019. Evli sought a replacement system that would improve transparency in financial figures, streamline work processes through automation, and be easy for the finance department to use.

The technology selected wasCCH Tagetik, which is represented in Finland byHSolutions. CCH Tagetik offers both cloud-based and on-premises corporate performance management (CPM) solutions.

The Tagetiki system met all of Evli's requirements
